Once again ALPI takes part in Design Shanghai to present new product developments for 2020, and its full range of decorative surfaces in reconstituted wood veneers. One of the most prestigious international design fairs and the leading event of its kind in Asia, Design Shanghai offers an exhibition format and a platform of trade that are unique throughout the world of design.
ALPI will be on hand with the new 2020 collections developed in collaboration with Patricia Urquiola and Piero Lissoni, revealing the company’s ability to generate both veneers with natural colors and grain, and completely original textures that do not exist in nature. Patricia Urquiola blends tradition and innovation to create grid-shaped wood patterns, geometric surfaces with a contemporary language where form and color establish a perfect, harmonious dialogue. At the same time, together with ALPI Piero Lissoni has created a surface inspired by the elegant expressions of mahogany, emphasizing the wood’s original characteristics and expanding its application potential.
